‘China is preparing for war…’: Rahul Gandhi targets BJP as Bharat Jodo Yatra completes 100 days
In a press conference in Jaipur, Rahul Gandhi said that BJP is running a systematic defamation campaign against him and Congress.
New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra completed 100 days on December 16 and the march launched on September 7 is in Rajasthan currently. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi hosted a press conference on the occasion and targeted BJP on issues like Indo-China relations and addressed the factionalism in the party in Rajasthan. He also said that Congress will take down BJP.
In a press conference in Jaipur, Rahul Gandhi said that BJP is running a systematic defamation campaign against him and Congress. He added that Congress is an ideological party, standing against fascism. Talking about the issue of China, he said the central government is trying to hide the issue, while China is preparing for war. He added that China is ‘thrashing’ Indian soldiers on the border.

He addressed the issues faced by the party in Rajasthan and said that there is no confusion, such things happen sometimes and there is no problem. He also said that Congress is a democratic and ideological party. Rahul Gandhi said that the Chiranjeevi and Urban MNREGA policies are working well, also there is the issue of water and other petty issues for the state government to deal with.

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot were also present at the press conference.
Bharat Jodo Yatra is a march taken out by Rahul Gandhi from Kanyakumari to Jammu Kashmir, which covers 12 states and a distance of about 3,500 km. The march has covered eight states and 42 districts with 708 km left as per the official website. Notable people such as Swara Bhasker, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan and Pooja Bhatt have joined the march alongside Rahul Gandhi.
