New Delhi: After a video has gone viral on social media, claiming that Chinese flag was unfurled over Galwan Valley on the New Year Day of 2022, the Army sources have told NDTV that the flag was raised in undisputed Chinese-held areas, and not in the 2020 clash site.
However, no official statement has been made in this matter.
The video was first shared by Chinese state media journalist Shen Shiwei. He also said that this Chinese national flag holds a very special place since it once flew over Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
Sharing the video he wrote:-

Opposition ask reply from PM Modi
Soon after the video was shred at a larger scale on social media, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not miss a chance to ask PM Modi to break his silence over Chinese incursions in the eastern Ladak’s Galwan valley.
गलवान पर हमारा तिरंगा ही अच्छा लगता है।
चीन को जवाब देना होगा।

Where is India’s Hindu Nationalist regime and its love for tricolor when China’s national flag is flying over the Galwan Valley? pic.twitter.com/atHsFYsQ9h

20 soldiers were martyred fighting for Galwan, yet the GoI has decided to remain a mute spectator when China is putting out visuals claiming to have unfurled their flag in the Galwan valley on New Year’s Eve.
Will PM Modi again not name China and give himself a clean chit?

Galwan Valley Clash:
In the Galwan valley clash that took place in 2020, India lost twenty soldiers in action.
For their bravery, the martyred soldiers were honoured with their names installed in memorials.
On the other hand, China claimed that it has four soldiers; however, the Indian Army said that China suffered more casualties.
