CM Rupani approves grant in aid college to GMDC Arts and Commerce college

This Arts and Commerce College run by Kutch Vidya Pratishthan of Nakhtrana has been running by GMDC since 2001.

New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has given principle approval to the only Arts-Commerce College in Nakhtrana taluka, a border area of Kutch district, as a grant-in-aid college.

This Arts and Commerce College run by Kutch Vidya Pratishthan of Nakhtrana has been running by GMDC since 2001.

Pradyumansinh Jadeja, representative of the area, presented to the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in the interest of the young students that if the college is run by the state government as a grant-in-aid institution, the young students from Nakhtrana and surrounding villages will be able to study here.

Responding to this presentation, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has given principle approval to GMDC Nakhtrana Arts and Commerce College as a grant-in-aid institution.

In the wider interest of Nakhtrana students, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has allowed the college to function as a grant-in-aid.
