CM Rupani launches 4 development projects in 1 day, for all round development of cities & towns

New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani has set a goal for all-round rapid and equal development of cities, towns and villages in the state through planned comprehensive development.

For this purpose, the Chief Minister has given the final touches to the development plans of small towns and Vistar Vikas Mandal(area development boards), i.e. the well-planned development of the area.

MrRupani has marked a history to approve total 4 development plans including two Vistar Vikas Satta Mandal (area development authority boards) and two Sehri Vikas Satta Mandal (urban development authority boards) in a single day.

As a result of this approval given by Chief Minister in the area of Pilgrim bahuhraji, approximately 8.78 sq. km of revenue area of Becharaji village will be developed under Becharaji Vistar Vikas Satta Mandal. The development map has been approved, especially for the devotees who visit to worship Becharaji Mata. In this development plan of Becharaji, planning of residential, commercial, industrial, public purpose, parking 9.00 m, 12.00 m, 18.00 m, 24.00 m, 36.00 m as well as 90.00 m wide roads are suggested.

The Chief Minister has also approved the revised plan of the Limbdi Area Development Authority.Limbdi covers an area of about 13.40 sq. Km. grid pattern is well organized in planned areas.Roads of different widths from 12.00 m to 40.00 m are suggested for it. No reservation of DP is suggested in this development map.

The Chief Minister also decided to approve the first development plan of Navsari Urban Development Authority (NUDA) designed for 71.37 sq km area found in Navsari and Vijalpor as well as 15 surrounding villages.

This development plan will create new development opportunities in all the villages included in the NUDA and will give a distinct identity to the entire urban development area due to well-planned development. Mr. Rupani emphasized on town planning scheme and TP for infrastructural facilities in the city. Not a single reservation is suggested in the development plan of Navsari Authority.

The development plan is estimated to cost Rs. 655 / – crore in the next 10 years to provide infrastructural facilities including resurfacing of existing roads, proposed new roads, street lights etc.

Bardoli Urban Development Authority (BUDA) has been approved by the State Government for a total area of 65.78 sq km of Bardoli city and 16 surrounding villages including 6.67 sq km of Bardoli municipality and other villages.

Rupani inaugurates projects -

Pursuit of this, BUDA published First Development Plan under Town Planning Act section -13 on 06th December 2019. Mr. Rupani also took immediate action on this plan, approving this development map has given a new direction to the planning of the entire area.

Chief Minister has also suggested zoning of the proposed population based residential / commercial / industrial / public purpose etc. in the entire area. He has taken one more step towards realizing the dreams of the Prime Minister by simultaneously approving 4 development plans.

Chief Minister showed hiscommitmentfor all-round rapid development of the state by giving such approvals with transparency.
