CM Vijay Rupani digitally inaugurates Uttarardh Mahotsav at Sun Temple Modhera
Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani digitally inaugurated Uttarardh Mahotsav at Sun Temple Modhera. he said that Indian civilisation’s unity in diversity has been manifested through the Sun and different Gods and Goddesses in different regions of the country since ancient times.
The state government provides platform for world-renowned artists in the field by organizing such festivals for the promotion of classical song-music and dance. The Sun’s worship finds relevance in Gujarat becoming a hub of solar energy. We are fortunate that Gujarat is getting maximum sunlight.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra laid the foundation stone of the world’s largest Renewable Energy Park at Khawda, Kutch.
Expressing confidence that people will come closer to our historical heritage through the such festivals Mr. Rupani said that, the world famousModhera Sun Temple as the tableau of Gujarat will flourish in the national parade on January 26 this year in Delhi.
Our Navratri is the global identity of Gujarat, the festival of ShaktiswarupaAdhyashakti. While the Durga Puja of Bengal is a coordinating festival of Shakti-Aradhana.
The CM said that we believe in the culture of “VasudhaivaKutumbakam” (The World is One Family!)Indian culture is an ideology. There are glorious traditions.It is through this cultural unity that India today is moving forward with the mantra of “SaunoSathSaunoVikas” (Collective efforts Inclusive Growth).

The spectacular view of water flowing from the rainwater in the famous water kund of Modhera Surya Mandir tweeted by our Prime Minister was viewed by 3.3 million people.
