CM Yogi distributes appointment letters to the selected candidates of UPPSC and UPSSSC

Congratulating the newly appointed officers, the CM maintained “You are the backbone of making the state number one economy in the country. If the backbone breaks, the entire system falls. The previous governments had made this state without a backbone. We intend to bring the state to number one in the country with efficient people like you.”

New Delhi: Unleashing a sharp attack on the previous government for making the recruitment process corrupt through bribery, the Chief Minister remarked that during 2012-2017 in SP regime, ‘dahej lekar naukri di jaati thi’. Now, Uttar Pradesh has undergone a complete transformation and its perception before the country and across the globe has changed, he said.

The CM made the statement while handing over the appointment letters to 58 Sub-District Magistrates, 34 District Basic Education Officer , 43 Senior Lecturer, District Education and Training Institute , 173 Review Officer, 398 Sugarcane Supervisor , 10 Senior Cane Development Inspector, 208 Assistant Engineer , 236 stenos selected through Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).

Good Governance is not possible merely by changing the government, rather the entire system needs to reformed. Officers should also get a chance to work in a positive and good environment, he added.

The CM highlighted employment generation under his government, saying that his government had established an honest, fair and transparent work culture because of which the state is progressing fast, Yogi Adityanath added.

Comparing the Samajwadi Party with the characters of Mahabharata, the Chief Minister pointed out that earlier the recruitment process was compromised on the lines of caste and money alleging that as soon as any recruitment process used to start in the state the characters of Mahabharat used to become active for ‘vasooli’.

Taking a jibe at the previous governments, the CM said, “Earlier, the work of appointment of SDM was being done by taking a sum of Rs42 to 65 lakh. Its CBI investigation is still going on. Money was also extorted from the eligible candidates.”

“UP’s economy that was on the 6th position in the country four and a half years is India’s second biggest economy today.” Yogi Adityanath pointed out. “Similarly, UP also improved its ease of doing business rank from 14th four years ago to 2nd in 2021, Stable law and order in the state now has helped us gain confidence of industrialists and investors.” he added.

He said that his government has done the work of transforming 1.30 lakh schools under Operation Kayakalp. Today, there are schools with smart classes, toilets, libraries, cleanliness. Uniforms, school bags, sweaters, books were given to the children. We provided all facilities including shoes and socks to all the girls.

He further informed that during the pandemic period, half of the sugar mills in Maharashtra were closed, all the sugar mills in Brazil were closed. Our government operated all 121 sugar mills during the Corona period in the state. Help desk was set up for security, all precautions were taken for Covid testing.

Minister of Jal Shakti and Flood Control Dr. Mahendra Singh, Minister, Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Suresh Rana, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Basic Education Dr Satish Dwivedi, Minister of State for Jal Shakti Baldev Singh Aulakh, Minister of State, Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Suresh Pasi, Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Flood Control Dinesh Khatik were also present at the event.
