New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that for the previous governments, Lord Krishna and Ram used to be ‘communal’.

“Today, when it seems that society would not forgive them, they bow down and worship Lord Krishna and Ram. This victory of ideology is the biggest victory for us,” the CM said while attending the Krishnotsav programme in Mathura.
CM Yogi on Monday said that earlier neither a Chief Minister nor a minister used to send greetings to the people on festivals.

“No one used to come forward to celebrate Hindu festivals. In fact, alerts were issued that no programme will be done after 12 o’clock at night. Now, there are no such restrictions, all the festivals are celebrated with gaiety. This is the transformation that we provided to our people,” he said.
