CM Yogi in action mode after Covid recovery, visits under-construction hospital; reviews state’s preparedness to fight pandemic

During his isolation period of 14 days, the UP CM was undertaking detailed review of the condition in high-level covid review meetings with senior officials twice regularly.

New Delhi: Soon after being tested negative for COVID-19, CM Yogi reached the under-construction DRDO hospital to check on the facilities and to amplify the preparations for battling the mayhem caused by the second wave of the virus in Uttar Pradesh.

Even after the doctors advising him to take proper rest for about a week, the COVID warrior landed at ground zero to protect his people and to monitor the medical facilities for managing the health conditions and gave directions to get the relevant jobs done at a rapid pace.

It is evident that the Chief Minister does not want his people to suffer and putting his health at risk, continued to work 19 to 20 hours every day. During his over two-week isolation, the chief minister carried on his work virtually. CM is continuously working in the service of 23 crore people of the state.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday informed through a micro blogging site that he has recovered from COVID19. Taking to Twitter, UP CM thanked doctors and all the well wishers.He had tested positive for the infection on April 14th. Within few hours of recovery, he conducted a high level review meeting with his officials and then left for DRDO hospital at Awadh Shilp Gram, to be named after Late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpayee. The hospital has progressed in full momentum and it now stands in the final stage of completion.

It is noteworthy, during his isolation period of 14 days, the UP CM was undertaking detailed review of the condition in high-level covid review meetings with senior officials twice regularly. The UP CM was in direct touch with his officials to ensure availability of ICU beds, oxygen and life-saving drugs to every person in need.

To tackle the enormous challenge of COVID-19, CM Yogi Adityanath was closely monitoring the facilities and himself had an interaction session with the surveillance teams of the 75 districts recently where he closely reviewed the entire situation of the state.

Ensuring that no hospitals will face scarcity of medical oxygen, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath placed orders for setting up more oxygen plants in as many as 39 hospitals and 855 CHCs of Uttar Pradesh but also, asked the Centre to provide more than 50 oxygen tankers to the state. With this, work is also underway to set up O2 plants at private hospitals, too.

‘Ensure equal participation of Private Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Testing Labs’

To ensure equal participation of Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes, CM Yogi Adityanath has also lined up a virtual meeting with the owners of all the Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes across the state to ensure smooth and timely admission of patients and to maintain synergy between Hospitals and the State Government.
