New Delhi: Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who has a penchant for courting controversy, sparked off fresh row with her objectionable video message on Saturday. In lavish praise of Priyanka, he not only attacked BJP but also ‘belittled’ Rahul’s capability to take on the saffron party.
At a time, when Rahul is getting combative against government, Acharya’s excessive praise of Priyanka is set to grab many eyeballs.
Stopping to new low, the Congress leader said that it is Priyanka Gandhi who will slaughter Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Acharya made this outrageous remark while singing paeans for the Gandhi scion and Congress General Secretary.
“Congress is a party, not limited to any particular religion. It is not of Hindus, not of Muslims but a party of over 100 crore Indians. There is no bigger Hindu than Priyanka Gandhi,” he said.

Eulogising Priyanka, he likened her to Maa Durga.
“Priyanka is an avatar of Durga. Practising Hindu rituals, Ganan Snan, wearing Rudraksh may be matter of personal interest but this itself has made BJP nervous. You will see – BJP will be slaughtered by none other than Priyanka Gandhi,” said Congress leader in obnoxious remarks.
Acharya’s tweet ‘revives’ Congress turf war in Rajasthan
The turmoil in Rajasthan Congress blew out of control when Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot indulged in a much public spat over ‘who controls government & party in state’.
A day ago, Acharya’s tweet gave a fresh impetus to ongoing battle between two Cong stalwarts in the state.
Acharya Pramod Krishnam blessed Sahin Pilot to become the state chief minister.

This was seen in political circles as Acharya Krishnam’s open blessings for Sachin Pilot to take over the mantle. Obviously, this didn’t go down well with Gehlot loyalists.
Pilot’s followers are projecting him as the mass leader with huge draw of people at his rallies while Gehlot’s confidantes are going extra mile to counter that theory.
