“Congress considers terrorism as its vote bank”: PM Modi’s scathing attack ahead of Gujarat Assembly election

Targeting the Congress party he said, when Congress was at the Centre the terrorism was at the peak in the country.

New Delhi:  Ahead of the Gujarat Assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attacked the Congress party on Sunday said terrorism was at its peak during the Congress rule and the party targeted him instead of terrorist because of vote bank politics.

While addressing the public meeting in Kheda, PM Modi said Gujarat was a target of terrorism for a long period of time. He mentioned about those innocent people who were killed in the explosions in Surat and Ahemdabad.

Targeting the Congress party he said, when Congress was at the Centre the terrorism was at the peak in the country.

Congress considers terrorism as its vote bank, he said, PM also added that several other parties indulging in appeasement politics also have arisen.

PM Modi also mentioned about the Delhi’s Batla House encounter, he said then Congress leaders cried in support of the terrorists. He said terrorism is a vote bank for not only Congress but there are several such parties who have risen who believe in politics of shortcut and appeasement.

He said the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) government has been acting towards eliminating the menace of terrorism.

Gujarat Assembly Election 

The Gujarat Assembly elections is scheduled to be held in two phases on December 1 and December 5.Counting of the votes is  on December 8.

Himachal Pradesh Assembly Election

Himachal Pradesh will vote on November 12 while the result will be announced on December 8.
