New Delhi: Amid the ongoing farmers protest at Delhi border, a bizarre claim of woman protester is viral on social media. The woman protester claims that ‘Cops and Government have stolen her sandals to foil the protests.’
The woman farmer leader is part of the group protesting in Greater Noida against recently concluded farm bills.
She identifies herself as Thakur Geeta Bhati and says she is the president of Kisan Ekta Sangh’s Mahila Morcha. Making sensational rather weird claims, she claimed that her sandals were stolen by cops and central govt as it was part of a conspiracy to foil their protest.
“I am Thakur Geeta Bharti, National Head of Kisan Ekta Sangh Women Wing. The police and administration have conspired to steal my sandals so that I cannot fight for the farmers. But I will fight barefoot. I will file FIR against them. The government must return my sandals,” she can be header saying in video.

Those accompanying her shouted slogans while others bursted into laughter due to her strange claims.
Bhati has also demanded that Modi government return her sandals.
‘Geeta Bhati ka sandal Waapis karo’ also became top trending topic on Twitter, with people sharing memes and satirical tweets.
