Covid19: Mumbai may cross 2,000 per day cases today: Aditya Thackeray

Covid19 in Mumbai: In the past 24 hours, Mumbai reported 1,333 COVID-19 cases.

New Delhi: Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray on Wednesday said that “Mumbai may cross over 2000 covid19 per day cases today.”

He said that last week over 150 cases were being reported per day, now  around 2000 cases are being reported per day.

With the rising covid and omicron cases, Aditya Thackeray, who is the guardian minister of the city, chaired an emergency meeting with senior officials today.

The meeting was attended by BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar and other health officials.

In the past 24 hours, Mumbai reported 1,333 COVID-19 cases.
