Days after posturing over Prophet row, Kuwait wants cow dung from India

Kuwait is one of the first few countries that publicly criticised the remark on Prophet Muhammad made by a BJP leader.

New Delhi: Amid the row over a remark by BJP leaders on Prophet Mohammed, Kuwait placed an order for the import of 192 metric tonnes of indigenous cow dung from India.

A Jaipur-based firm has received the order for the cow dung. The first consignment of the order will be dispatched from Kankapura railway station on June 15.

Kuwait orders for first time cow dung

The information was shared by Atul Gupta, National President of the Organic Farmer Producer Association of India. He said, ”A Jaipur-based company Sunrise Agriland and Development Research Pvt Ltd has received the order.

Talking about the order, Prashant Chaturvedi, the company’s director said this was probably the first time that Kuwait send an order of cow dung. He added that packing work of cow dung in containers is under progress under the supervision of the Customs Department at Sunrise Organic Park, located in Shripinjrapol Gaushala, Tonk Road, Jaipur.

Kuwait scientists find dung increases crop production

It is reported that many countries have found cow dung boosts the production of crops after doing extensive research.

Gupta said Kuwait’s agricultural scientists have found that cow dung has qualities to increase dates and also proliferated the production.

Kuwait denounces BJP leader’s remark
