Dr. Baluja said that the hospital has over 210 patients and they only have oxygen stock to last for 45 minutes at 10:15 am on Saturday. “We were supposed to get a supply of 3,600 litres of oxygen at 5 pm on Friday, but we got 1,500 litres at 12 pm. There was a 7-hour delay and by that time the pressure of oxygen supply was low. Even while refilling, it takes time for the pressure to build up,” DK Baluja told to The Hindu.
