New Delhi: While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) engage in fierce face-off over arrest of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia over latter’s alleged involvement in liquor policy scam, the Delhi BJP unit on tweeted a clip from the movie ‘Bahubali’ to take dig at the ‘mastermind scamster’. The AAP leadership found itself in the dock after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team arrested Manish Sisodia in the liquor scam. Facing all-round criticism over top leadership’s alleged collusion with liquor mafia, CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday took resignation of both ministers Sisodia & Satyendra Jain. Sharing about a minute-long clip from the film ‘Bahubali’, the Delhi BJP tweeted, “Must watch film of “liquor scam mastermind Kejriwal.” “शराब घोटाले के सरग़ना केजरीवाल” की ये फिल्म जरुर देखिये….#ठेकेदार_केजरीवाल_इस्तीफ़ा_दो pic.twitter.com/pqc85DcHB4 — BJP Delhi (@BJP4Delhi) March 1, 2023 In the video, faces of liquor buyer & staff at the tavern are covered with faces Arvind Kejriwal & Manish Sisodia. It shows the man with Kejriwal face walking into the tavern & asking for alcohol & serving him liquor is the person, whose face has been superimposed with Manish Sisodia. After being served, the former keeps asking for more & bigger pegs of liquor. When the man impersonating as Sisodia demands money, the ‘scamster mastermind’ throws a heap of gold coins, saying that he can buy drinks for the whole tavern. With BJP mocking CM Kejriwal & his team, the war of words is set to get more intense, given the social media presence & thrust of both parties. Meanwhile, AAP leader Manish Sisodia, arrested in Delhi excise policy case, was remanded to CBI’s custody for 5 days. The investigative agency said that the Deputy CM was evasive in his replies & was not co-operating with the investigating team.
