Delhi Congress posts morphed pic of political survey, deletes later

The newsgroup was fast enough to issue a clarification as it denied conducting any such survey through its platform

New Delhi: Delhi Congress on Thursday shared a photoshopped image of a political survey by Hindi news daily Aaj Tak, depicting Rahul Gandhi as the most preferred leader in the country, as he had garnered 52 per cent votes in the survey.

However, the newsgroup was fast enough to issue a clarification as it denied conducting any such survey through its platform while urging the grand old party to remove the claim immediately.

Have a look

“CLARIFICATION: @INCDelhi The information shared in this tweet is completely wrong. This picture is Photoshopped. Aaj Tak has not done any such survey, it is completely fake. We hope that responsible political organizations like you will immediately remove this tweet containing false news in the name of Aaj Tak.
Thanks”, Aaj Tak wrote in its tweet.

Delhi Congress later deleted the tweet without any apology or explanation, but Twitter users had already taken screenshots of the post.
