New Delhi: While the Sultanpuri horror continues to hog the headlines, a series of fresh CCTV footages are emerging in the case. The latest CCTC footage is of deceased girl Anjali’s friend Nidhi who claimed that she was
with her on the New year’s night.
In the CCTV footage, Nidhi can be seen reaching her home at around 2:30 AM in the morning. She earlier claimed that she was sitting pillion on Anjali’s scooty when the fateful incident happened.
At around the same time, Anjali was hit and dragged by a Baleno car in Sultanpuri on New Year’s night.
In the CCTV footage, Nidhi looked flustered and was also seen walking in front of her house while she waits for someone. She is seen walking in front of the gate and looks visibly depressed. According to CCTV footage, the camera timing was 1.36 AM.

Anjali was killed on New Year day after he scooty was hit by a car underneath and she was dragged for about 13 kms under the vehicle.
Earlier, Nidhi claimed that she was riding pillion on the scooter while Anjali was at the wheels. Her presence with Anjali was confirmed by CCTV camera which showed them walking out of a hotel.
Speaking to press yesterday, she said that the she was too frightened to report about the mishap & hence she kept mum. She said that she was so shocked & terrified that night that she left from the scene. As her residence was close by to the accident site, she came home walking from the site.
She also told the press yesterday that the men in jeep were aware of her getting trapped in the wheels, but didn’t stop. She said that the culprits kept on driving vehicle despite knowing that somebody was screaming for help.
