Rampant DTC Bus wreaks havoc in Delhi

Last Saturday, (November 4) at around 2:48 PM in Delhi’s Vishram Chauk area, a video showing a blue electric DTC bus going out of control emerged on the internet. The visuals of the chilling incident showed how the speeding bus, after losing control, rammed into a white sedan, flipped over an electric rickshaw, and finally crushed a dozen scooters and cycles parked in front of a shop on the roadside.

Fortunately, the vehicle came to a halt after crashing into the parked two-wheelers as one wise man averted any further mishap from happening by pulling out its key and turning off the vehicle’s ignition. Later, one more guy rushed to help the unconscious driver of the bus by bringing water for him.

However, the driver still didn’t regain consciousness and was later taken into custody by the police officers who arrived at the incident’s spot after a while. Although not officially confirmed, reports have it that the driver as well as all the injured persons were taken to a nearby hospital where they underwent treatment.
