
New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced that the Delhi Metro services on March 8, which is the day of the Holi, will not be available till 14.30 hrs (2:30 pm IST) on all lines of Delhi Metro. This termination of services also includes the Rapid/Airport Express line. The services will, however, resume after 2:30 pm.
The services for the Metro Feeder bus will also be unavailable till 2:30 pm and will resume thereafter. It is to be noted that the Delhi Metro services will resume at the given time from its terminal stations and will continue according to their respective time.
Services will resume at 14.30 hrs from terminal stations on all lines and will continue normally thereafter. In addition, Metro Feeder bus services will also resume after 14.30 hrs on 08th March 2023: DMRC

In addition to this, Delhi Police has also issued guidelines for Holi celebrations. As per the guidelines, there will be strict patrolling by traffic police across the city. There will be a special check on triple riding, black films, underage driving, and driving without a helmet.
To counter the problem of intoxication and drink-and-drive cases, police will randomly check mobile pickets for liquors and there will be strict action against drunken driving.
DMRC was celebrating International Women’s Day on March 6 and organised Prakriti Park for women employees. There were also celebrations on the theme ‘Delhi-NCR, a city for women’ at the Dwarka Sector-14 Metro Station.

Holi, the festival of colours will be celebrated on March 8, while Holika Dahan is dated March 7.
