Delhi violence: CAA rioters throw acid on paramilitary forces in Karawal Nagar

In Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area, the paramilitary forces were attacked by acid. CAA protesters reportedly hurled acid on the security forces from their rooftops, reported Times Now.

New Delhi: The national capital continues to remain on the edge, with series of violent incidents being reported from various parts of North-East Delhi.

As per the report, paramilitary forces were attacked with acid like substance while they were trying to enter colonies in violence stricken areas to restore calm. A couple of them suffered burn injuries and were taken to GTB hospital for treatment.

Report claimed that rioters are well-armed and ready to inflict more damage to public property.

The acid attack on security personnel comes as a shocking development as this follows stone-pelting and arson by vandals in last 3 days.

On Monday, the picture of a rioter named ShahRukh flashing his gun openly at a Delhi policeman and firing almost 8 rounds left everybody shocked.

Till now, 10 people have died in the Delhi violence including a Delhi Police Head constable Rattan Lal. Autopsy claimed that he died of bullet injury. 56 police personnel are injured including DCP Amit Sharma, who suffered serious head injury.
