The heartwarming video came in the midst of IT City being slowed down by heavy Traffic Jams specifically on the outer ring road. The Jams caused major problems and delays for commuters of the busy and bustling city.

New Delhi: Advancing Technology has lately made online food ordering one of our everyday habits.

Rapid globalisation, fast-paced lifestyle and the internet revolution have increased interconnectivity more than ever before and made it possible for folks to get whatever they wish for, be it food, gadgets, or medicines, right at their doorstep by just making a few taps on their mobile screen.

With a number of delivery apps competing against each other in trying to serve their customers best, it’s not an unusual sight to see those delivery executives go the extra mile to stay a step ahead of their competitors and win over their customers’ hearts and a recently occurred incident in IT capital Bengaluru is a good example of this.

On Wednesday, when Instagram, Facebook and X were all flooded with images and videos of Bangloru’s horrific traffic Jams and road blockades, a heartwarming act by Domino’s delivery boy went viral on social media platforms and netizens are now considering it a ‘Peak Bengaluru’

The incident occurred when a man entrapped in a heavy Traffic Jam in the IT city decided to snack up a little and ordered a Pizza from leading food company Domino’s. Upon receiving the said order, the food delivery company went a step further in serving their customer by tracking his live location and sending their agent to deliver to him food in the midst of the traffic Jam.

When the tasty food finally arrived to him, the happy customer didn’t waste any time recording the whole moment and sharing it on his Twitter (X) account. His video is now going viral on the internet.

Check out the video here:

The video, recorded by the customer from Inside his car, shows the bikes of two Domino’s delivery agents stopping right in front of his car during the Banglore chock. In the later part of the video, we see one of the delivery agents walking up to the customer to hand him over two containers of Pizza.

Joint Commissioner Issues Statement

The heartwarming video came in the midst of IT City being slowed down by heavy Traffic Jams specifically on the outer ring road. The Jams caused major problems and delays for commuters of the busy and bustling city.

In response to the Traffic Jam, the Joint Commissioner of Traffic released their official statement in which they claimed that the traffic choke is happening due to the announced bandh which is causing the people to leave the city to enjoy the extended weekend.

Irked by the official statement, a frustrated parent whose kid reached home at 9 pm due to the Jam wrote, “This is a disgraceful statement from the government. Instead of making excuses, maybe admit that Bangalore has no public transport, terrible drainage, badly maintained roads and poor city planning. My children returned from school at 9 pm, and these guys blamed the citizens.”
