Election Results 2023: When & where to watch LIVE updates on counting in Tripura, Nagaland & Meghalya?

Though, the final results will be declared tomorrow morning, the exit polls have shown a clear saffron sweep in the North-East.

New Delhi: Counting of votes for Assembly Elections is all set to get underway in Tripura, Nagaland & Meghalya on March 2. All three North-Eastern States have 60 constituencies each, total accounting for 180 seats. Elections for these 180 constituencies were held on February 16 & February 27.

As per poll panel guidelines, the counting of votes will begin on March 2, from 8 AM.

Though, the final results will be declared tomorrow morning, the exit polls have shown a clear saffron sweep in the North-East. According to poll forecast, the BJP & its alliance is set to form government in Tripura & Nagaland while Meghalaya looks headed for a hung house.

According to Exit polls, the BJP is set to sweep Tripura for second term while the ruling NDPP-BJP alliance is widely expected to retain power in Nagaland. Meghalya is likely to give a fractured mandate with no party getting clear mandate from people.

The 60-member Tripura Assembly had gone to polls on February 16. Nagaland voted to elect all 60 members of the Assembly in one phase on February 27 while Meghalaya also voted in single phase on February 27.
