New Delhi: Counting of votes for Assembly Elections is all set to get underway in Tripura, Nagaland & Meghalya on March 2. All three North-Eastern States have 60 constituencies each, total accounting for 180 seats. Elections for these 180 constituencies were held on February 16 & February 27. According to poll forecast, the BJP & its alliance is set to form government in Tripura & Nagaland while Meghalaya looks headed for a hung house. Meghalya is likely to give a fractured mandate with no party getting clear mandate from people. The 60-member Tripura Assembly had gone to polls on February 16. Nagaland voted to elect all 60 members of the Assembly in one phase on February 27 while Meghalaya also voted in single phase on February 27.
