The Yogi Adityanath-led government in the state on Thursday distributed a whopping 1.5 lakh metric tonne (MT) of free rice to over 3 crore beneficiaries covering 71.62 lakh families under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

CM Yogi Adityanath in a meeting today with senior officers said,”It doesn’t matter if a person has Ration Card or not, Aadhaar Card or not, if the person is needy he/she would be provided with essential food items. Even if the person is a migrant he/she shall be provided with food and ration.
