Exit Polls 2022: BJP may return to power in Goa, projected to be largest party

News Delhi: The seven phase elections for Uttar Pradesh concluded today for Uttar Pradesh. Other four states which went to polls included Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa & Manipur.

India TV-CNX Exit Poll team conducted the survey to gauge the mood of public and how they voted in the just concluded elections.

According to India TV-Ground Zero, BJP is seen fetching 16-22 seats in the 40 member Assembly while Congress is seen lagging behind sharply and getting restricted to 11-17 seats. As the magic figure is 20 seats, the saffron party is seen barely crossing the half way mark, though it’s not a strong mandate.

According to CNX exit poll, the BJP is seen getting 36% vote share while Congress is seen trailing at 29% vote share.

Other contestants in the race were Kejriwal-led AAP and Mamata led TMC. Both have suffered major setback and are getting restricted at mere 0-3 seats. Both CMs descended to the Southern state but their efforts are not seen getting converted into numbers.
