‘Factually wrong’: Raghav Chadha reacts on reports of him being named in ED chargesheet

Raghav issued a statement and said that this appeared to be part of a ‘malicious propaganda to harm his reputation’.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday questioned the news reports that claimed he was named as an accused in the supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi liquor policy case.

AAP’s Rajya Sabha lawmaker took to Twitter to inform that some media report citing his alleged indictment in the liquor policy was factually wrong and malicious. He said that he was not named in the chargesheet and hence he was urging all not to make any false references.

Raghav issued a statement and said that this appeared to be part of a ‘malicious propaganda to harm his reputation’.

Earlier, reports claimed that Raghav Chadha was the second top AAP leader after former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia to be charged for alleged money laundering pertaining to Delhi liquor excise policy scam.

Reports suggest that Manish Sisodia’s former secretary, C Arvind told the probe agency that a meeting held at former deputy CM’s residence was also attended by Raghav Chadha. The meeting reportedly discussed contours of Delhi’s new excise policy formulation & implementation.
