New Delhi: It has been raining heavily in Haryana for about 10 days straight, which has caused the rivers to brech safety levels and failure of dams. Due to flooded neighbourhood & heavy waterlogging all around, people’s patience is running out and their anger & frustration against political masters at all time high.

In Kaithal area of Haryana, a Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) MLA Ishwar Singh became a victim of people’s wrath as he was slapped by a woman while he went out to monitor the ground situation.

The event occurred when MLA Ishwar Singh was visiting flood victims in Bhatia village, Kaithal district. According to reports, the woman was there in the location during the MLA’s visit and then she slapped him, while the police and administration were present. This event was brought on by the public’s anger towards the MLA. In the meanwhile, the MLA’s personal security officer rushed to his rescue and returned him to the car.

A video of the event quickly went popular on various social media platforms. The purported footage had audio of the lady and other people who can be heard saying, “Why have you come now?” Later, when addressing the media, MLA Singh said that he had forgiven the lady and would not be pursuing any legal action against her.

On the other side, the persistent rains that have been falling in Haryana and Punjab have led to flooding, which has claimed the lives of at least 15 people so far, with the possibility that this number could rise.
