New Delhi: A small but heartwarming conversation between Ravinder Tyagi and PM Modi during the ‘thanksgiving ceremony’ organized to acknowledge & applaud the contribution of ‘unsung heroes’ in the recently concluded G20 Summit in the national capital is wining hearts on social media.

Ravinder Tyagi, a member of the ‘G20 team’ that organized the logistics for the Summit, shared his first experience of getting ‘shortlisted’ for the job.

“When I told my wife about this, she asked me – Tyagi ji, why are you even returning home? You should stay put there for the whole G20 Summit and do your best”, he told the Prime Minister during the interaction.

PM Modi was quick to give a witty reply to Tyagi’s devotion to work.

Prime Minsiter asked, “Will your wife distribute sweets, if she knows that PM has picked you for month-long assignment?”, leaving the hall burst into laughter.

Ravinder Tyagi also told the Prime Minister that he felt proud & honoured to be part of the G20 Summit as it was organized in the ITPO, where he has been working for 37 long years.

The interaction was attended by hundreds of ‘G20 team’ workers from diverse group of individuals including drivers, waiters, cleaners & other support staff. The interaction was organized to honour the contribution of these support staff who remained unnoticed but played crucial role in ensuring that Summit concluded seamlessly.
