New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot faced an embarrassing situation on Friday when he visited the historic Ramdevra temple in Jaisalmer.
The Chief Minister visited the famed temple to pay obeisance to Ramdevra Baba amidst tight security but he was reportedly greeted by ‘Modi, Modi’ chants. A couple of BJP leaders including Laxmikant Bhardwaj posted a video of Gehlot’s temple visit where people are shouting Modi-Modi slogans in the background.
The former Rajasthan BJP spokesperson also took a dig at the Chief Minister, saying that one of the top commanders of Rahul Gandhi had to face this embarrassing situation.
In the video, Gehlot can be seen walking inside the premises and a crowd chanting ‘Modi, Modi’, leaving him & his entourage red-faced. The chanting only escalated in pitch and intensity while Gehlot moved away from the crowd.
