“Get Out”: Heated argument between Haryana women’s panel chief and woman cop takes ugly turn [WATCH]

The rude exchange between the two continued till a fellow colleague of the cop was made to get her physically removed from the meeting room

New Delhi: A verbal spat between Haryana Women’s Commission chairperson and a woman police officer took an unpleasant turn on Friday, involving an exchange of rude and ill-mannered words in front of camera.

During a meeting in Kaithal in a case involving a marital matter, women’s panel chief Renu Bhatia irritatingly shouts at a police officer while also using coarse language.

The whole incident was recorded by a local journalist on his camera. The video shows a fuming Bhatia yelling, “You could’ve slapped him? Had the girl checked up thrice. Get out! I don’t want to hear anything”.

As the lady officer showed protest at the harsh words, Bhatia said, “SHO take her outside. You will face departmental inquiry”.

The rude exchange between the two continued till a fellow colleague of the cop was made to get her physically removed from the meeting room.

While being removed, the lady cop was heard saying, “We don’t come here to get insulted”, to which Bhatia said, “So you come here to get the girl insulted”?

The verbal spat reportedly initiated over the woman cop’s way of handling a marital dispute.

Bhatia later told the media, “We got a case involving a husband and wife. The husband misbehaved several times with members of the commission and the police. The man wanted to leave his wife because according to him, she wasn’t ‘physically fit”.

“So, we ordered medical tests for both of them. And while the woman was tested three times, the man refused to get tested. The investigating officer also failed to get it done. So we have ordered a departmental inquiry against her”, she added.

However, the police officer hasn’t reacted to the charges against her yet.
