Ghaziabad: Man Beheads wife with sword over delay in morning tea

New Delhi: In a shocking incident reported from Ghaziabad, a 52 year old man killed his wife with sword after an argument over making tea. The shocking incident took place in Bhojpur village in ghaziabad. The accused is booked for murder charges.

Delay in tea triggered the accused

The accuse work as a vegetable vendor and asked his wife Sundari to make tea in the morning on tuesday. The victim’s name is Sundari and she was 50 years old. The couple’s children were sleeping in another room. Accuse Dharamveer asked his wife to prepare tea as she was sitting near the stove. After some delay he asked again and then an argument erupted between the two. Triggered by her reaction, he picked up the sword which was lying nearby and attacked the victim from behind.

Accuse fled the spot after killing wife

After hearing the screams the children and the neighbours gathered. The victim died on the spot and soon after this the accuse fled the spot after killing her.

Victim had taken a loan of Rs 50000

According to reports the victim Sundari had taken a loan of Rs 50000 for some repairing work in the house and she had spent 35000 on the repair work. The remaining 15000 was left with her and the accused was asking her to give him that money which she refused. The victim’s son also told the cops that the accused had threatened to kill the victim earlier also in the past and this time he did it.

Police launches probe

Police reached the spot after receiving the call from the son and launched an FIR. Cops have also sent the body of the victim for post mortem. A team has also been formed to nab the accuse. Cops have also recorded the statements of the children and neighbours.
