Govt launches 24×7 helpline for Indian students stuck in Ukraine… Details here

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has set up a control room in the capital to bail out Indian students stuck in war-torn Ukraine.

New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has set up a control room in the capital to bail out Indian students stuck in war-torn Ukraine. The 24×7 helpline will furnish information & assistance to students seeking ways to exit the country as it faces attack by Russia.

Students can call the 24-hour helpline and seek help at given numbers –
+911123012113, +911123914104, +911123017905 and 1800118797.

Students who can’t connect via phone can also send e-mails to given address – [email protected] for information on bail out measures taken by Indian government.

The Indian Embassy in Ukrainian capital Kyiv also issued an advisory to Indian nationals stuck and informed that Ukrainian airspace was closed and flight schedules were cancelled.

It also said that alternate arrangements are being made and that information will be conveyed soon so that Indians could relocate to the western part of the country.

The Indian Embassy also advised its nationals to not to travel to Kyiv and stay put at safe locations.
