Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announces Rs. 10,000 interest- free festival advance

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today announced Rs. 10,000 interest-free festival advance to more than 5 lakh officers and employees of State Government as advance Diwali gift. For this purpose, provision of Rs. 500 crores have been made by the State Government.

The amount of this advance will be given to the officers and employees in the form of RuPay cards to further encourage digital transactions. This amount will be repaid pay the officers and employees of the State Government in 10 equal monthly installments without interest.

With this decision of Chief Minister, small traders will get a boost. The economy of the country and the state will also get a new impetus.
