Gujarat CM, wife offer prayers at Somnath Temple

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani visited the Somnath Mahadev temple on Saturday along with his family and offered prayers for the well-being of all  amidst the Corona pandemic.

While Covid-19 cases are increasing every day, Chief Minister instructed Somnath District  health authority to take concrete steps and carry out door to door survey to control spread  of Covid-19.

મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી વિજયભાઈ રૂપાણીએ આજે પ્રસિદ્ધ સોમનાથ જ્યોર્તિલિંગ ખાતે દર્શન-પૂજન કરીને ગુજરાત સહિત સમગ્ર વિશ્વને કોરોના મહામારીમાંથી મુક્ત કરવાની પ્રાર્થના સાથે સૌના મંગલની કામનાઓ કરી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું કે લૉકડાઉન બાદ સોમનાથ દાદાના ચરણમાં શીશ ઝૂકાવવાની તેમની ઈચ્છા આજે પૂર્ણ થઈ છે. pic.twitter.com/JJ18xXaICc

During the Chief Minister’s Visit to Somnath temple, Shri Rajeshbhai Chudasama, Member  of Parliament, Shri Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi, Chairman, Gujarat Municipal Finance Board,  Shri Anjaliben Rupani and family members, Shri Nitinbhai Bhardwaj, Shri Vijaysinh Chavda,  Manager of Somnath Trust and high officials from District Authority remained present.
