
New Delhi: As we are just a few hours away to enter into 2024, the entire city will turn into a fortress by the evening. The administration has deployed over 3000 policemen around the city to ensure safety and any untoward incident. These policemen will be deployed near malls, restaurants, pubs, clubs and on the roads to make sure no anti-social element will involve in any kind of misbehavior.

These hotspots in Gurgaon will be treated as hotspots
The Gurgaon Police has identified hot spots where people are likely to gather and celebrate the New Year’s eve. In order to maintain peace around these areas, policemen will be deployed in large numbers. These areas are MG Road sector-29, cyber hub and sector-65. Over 50 cops including 10 women will be present at these locations carrying anti-riot gear.
City Borders will have Check Points
Kapashera, Sohna, Pataudi-Rewari, Farrukhanagar, Jhajjar and Sirhaul will have check points at the border. The Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway will also have policemen deployed. People entering into the city will have to go through scanning at the check post and they will be allowed to enter only after they meet the necessary security check. The DCP also requested people to celebrate in peace, he said, “We are aware that Gurgaon is the party hub and a key destination to celebrate the New Year, the more people gather, the higher is the risk of unfortunate incidents, women and children especially become vulnerable to such situations ..therefore i urge people to celebrate in a peaceful manner’. However, cops will be deployed at every point to handle any untoward incident.

Action will be taken on vehicles parked on roads
Crime Branch will also monitor all areas
The officers of the crime branch will be monitoring areas like World Mark Mall, Huda ground, Cyber Hub sector-29, Galleria Market, Ambience Mall and 32nd avenue.
