New Delhi: A day after incidents of violence & burning of public property in Nuh, earlier called Mewat, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has called a high-level meeting to discuss the prevailing law & order situation in wake of Monday’s communal clashes.

The meeting will be attended by top officials of police administration, who will brief the Chief Minister on what led to spate of violence & also about alleged lapses in containing the mobsters from unleashing violence on streets.

The meeting will also be attended Haryana home minister Anil Vij. A detailed investigation has already been launched over Nuh violence.

Earlier, in the day, state Home Minister questioned the motive of rioters and said that violence didn’t break out all of sudden, rather it was ‘pre-planned.’ He said that probe team will investigate the matter and guilty will be ‘taught a lesson’.

“The violence did not take place suddenly. It was masterminded by someone with the target to disturb peace of the country and the state. The anti-social elements had collected stone, bullets were fired…it did not happen suddenly…therefore, an inquiry has been set up in this matter and whoever is found guilty will not be spared,” Vij said in a statement.
