New Delhi: It is common to read in media reports that a man threw acid on a woman in rage. Unlike the common incidents, this time a woman threw acid on a man because he denied her marriage proposal. The report against the woman has already been filed. The victim has been identified as Shyam of Haryana’s Sonipat.
Woman punishes man for refusal
The complaint has been filed by the 23-year-old victim’s aunt against the woman from Bidhal village of Sonipat district on Wednesday evening. According to the police, the victim lives with his aunt.
Sharing detail of the incident, she said that woman had come with her mother to discuss the marriage proposal with her nephew. However, he refused to accept the proposal. That is why she sprinkled the acid on her nephew.
Investigation launched
The police said an FIR has been registered in the matter. The investigation officer in the case said that we have started the investigation to nab the accused woman. The victim is unfit to issue a statement at this stage but soon his statement will be recorded, added the officer.
