New Delhi: Conflicting and contrasting versions and half-truths on alleged gangrape and assault of the 19-year-old victims keeps coming out from Hathras. From brutal gangrape & murder to ‘friendly relations turned sour’ to own family behind the killing… many theories have been sprouting with each passing day. Autopsy and FSL reports have however dismissed reports of rape but the murderous attempt on her life and administration’s callousness can’t be ruled out.
Now, Zee News TV channel has done a sting operation, reportedly of the Hathras doctor who gave first-hand treatment to the alleged gangrape victim.
According to Zee News, the doctor has made some ‘eye-opening’ revelations which negate and nullify the previous reports.
Dr Ramesh Babu, in a conversation recorded on hidden camera, admitted that the grievously injured victim was treated by him on September 14. He says, when the girl was brought to hospital, her condition was very bad. According to him, she had a severe neck injury however her tongue was not bitten.
Dr Ramesh Babu is also one of the key witnesses of SIT team probing the Hathras case.
Zee News, in other sting, recorded the statement of Home Guard Shiv Kumar, who first received the victim’s family at Chandpa police station in Hathras. Shiv Kumar had taken the victim to district Hathras hospital for treatment.
According to him, the family never talked of rape. Home Guard Shiv Kumar is also one of the witnesses of SIT team, formed by UP government.
Based on the taped conversation of these two, the girl has no bitten tongue and also there was no gangrape, in sharp contrast to earlier reports that girl was gangraped, lied naked in the fields with her tongue slashed, creating mass outrage.
Meanwhile, the channel also claims to be in possession of a video dated September 14, when the girl was brutalized by beasts. It claims that the video was recorded soon after the incident and many people were present in the field then.
