New Delhi: In a heartwrenching incident, a man was killed on a train after an iron rod pierced his neck after an iron rod came crashing through the coach’s window. The visuals of the horrifying incident have gone viral on social media.
In the video, the passenger, Harikesh Kumar Dubey can be seen sitting with his eyes closed, while a pool of blood can be seen next to him on his seat.
The incident is said to have taken place at 8:45 am between Danwar and Somna in the Prayagraj division of the North Central Railway on the Nilanachal Express train which was travelling from Delhi to Kanpur.
According to the statement released by the Indian Railways, read the iron rod which was being used in a railway track entered and killed the man by damaging the window of the train’s coach.
After the incident, the train was stopped at Aligarh Junction and the body of the deceased was handed over to the Government Railway Police.
The statement further said that investigation is underway.

The incident happened when Harikesh Dubey was sitting on the window seat when suddenly the iron rod shattered the glass on the window and pierced his neck.
