It was 10th of July when activist advocate Deepa Joseph was waiting to receive her friend at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Soon, she heard a commotion and when she paid attention to it, she spotted a guy arguing with the airport staff near the cafeteria.

As per Deepa’s description, the staff was accusing the guy of stealing food and he was continuously denying the same. Seeing things intensify, Deepa decided to be the peacemaker as she cut in the airport staff and even paid them bills on behalf of the guy.

Later, when Deepa got to know that the guy has landed in the country using an emergency passport, she interrogated him and asked him a few questions so that she can help him out. However, the guy was unable to answer her property and was looking distressed.

“All he had on himself was a couple of dollars and an old mobile phone with no sim card,” said Deepa. She further revealed that she wanted to help him out but was unable to stay at the airport anymore as she had prior commitments.

However, She did click some pictures of the long-lost guy and uploaded them on her Facebook profile hoping that his family will see them and contact her or the police regarding the same.

To the guy’s good luck, his mother Shobha identified him from the pictures on the very same evening and immediately contacted the authorities about the same.
