New Delhi: Global microblogging site Twitter has been witnessing vast changes in all scenarios, including the sacking of over 50 per cent of its employees, firing of board heads, changes in policies and more, ever since the recent acquisition of the company by billionaire Elon Musk.

Amid all, Twit Chief’s decision to make Blue Tick feature on the platform accessible for the commoners along with various perks, though unlike earlier, the feature also comes with charges of $8 per month, resulting it being currently the top most issue of discourse among the global users.

The internet community is left divided on the matter, as a section of netizens seems to be in the support of Tesla chief over opening ‘blue tick’ for all, while others are brutally criticising him for turning the site into money earning firm.

Recently, when an Indian user asked Musk about when the blue bird will roll out the new feature in India, he actually replied. “Hopefully, less than a month” he wrote.
