New Delhi: Global microblogging site Twitter has been witnessing vast changes in all scenarios, including the sacking of over 50 per cent of its employees, firing of board heads, changes in policies and more, ever since the recent acquisition of the company by billionaire Elon Musk.

Amid all, Twit Chief’s decision to make Blue Tick feature on the platform accessible for the commoners along with various perks, though unlike earlier, the feature also comes with charges of $8 per month, resulting it being currently the top most issue of discourse among the global users.

The internet community is left divided on the matter, as a section of netizens seems to be in the support of Tesla chief over opening ‘blue tick’ for all, while others are brutally criticising him for turning the site into money earning firm.

The paid blue tick service is currently operational in the US, Canada, the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, while users living in other regions of the world have been wondering by when Twitter will be launching the feature in their countries.

Recently, when an Indian user asked Musk about when the blue bird will roll out the new feature in India, he actually replied. “Hopefully, less than a month” he wrote.

Meanwhile, a couple of days back Musk listed the a series of perks that could be enjoyed on having a blue tick subscription, including a check on bots, lesser ads, the privilege of posting longer videos, and more.
