New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Saturday slammed the Rajasthan administration for series of riots & communal incidents in the Congress-ruled state.
Speaking to media, the MP minister also took jibe at Ashok Gehlot government and offered to send bulldozers if they don’t have.
“Rajasthan has been plagued by riots & communal mayhem over last few days & weeks at many places including Karoli, Bhilwara & Alwar. Gehlot government is proving to be ineffectual,” he said.
Further taking potshots at Rajasthan govt, he said, “In spite of bulldozing Sachin Pilot & team, the Chief Minister should act against the riots & perpetrators of violence. And, if they don’t have bulldozers, they can ask us. UP & MP governments can send them bulldozers.”

Citing example of Madhya Pradesh, he said that Shivraj government promptly controlled the situation in Khargone & nothing untoward happened thereafter.
“We haven’t imposed internet clampdown like Rajasthan, yet situation is completely under control. Gehlot govt is unable to contain the communally charged atmosphere and it is itself to blame,” he said in searing remarks.
Rajasthan has witnessed several incidents of stone-pelting, rioting & communal clashes in at least 4 districts in last one month. It started in Karoli during Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra when rioters pelted stones at procession. Days ago, communal clashes broke out in Jodhpur over hoisting of religious flag during Eid while Alwar & Bhilwara also saw arson & violence.
In Madhya Pradesh, communal flare-up took place in Khargone district but thereafter no such incident happened. MP administration deployed bulldozers to raze the houses & properties of rioters, a punishment that it says ‘works wonders’ in breaking the back of miscreants.
