New Delhi: Despite the country battling the second monstrous wave of Covid-19 pandemic, nation’s polity remains hugely divided with political parties finding fault with Centre’s ‘Corona containment policy’and thus taking potshots at Modi govt.
Opposition has been relentlessly attacking Modi government for Covid crisis and rather pinning the blame on it for ‘letting it go out of control’. Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi have been leading the charge from front.
Centre, on the other hand, has largely stayed silent on accusations against it but has sought support of entire nation in fighting off the unprecedented situation.
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi held an Instagram interaction with people where she spoke on a range of issues including Centre’s Covid strategy, Modi government, vaccination drive and even former PM Nehru.
The Congress leader was critical of Modi govt’s handling of Covid crisis but extended words of praised for NSUI’s humanitarian assistance during pandemic.
She also appealed to people to ‘stay safe, stay healthy’ and urged NSUI workers to extended maximum assistance to those in need.
