Instagram influencer, Jasneet Kaur alias Rajbir Kaur arrested in Ludhiana for blackmail, extortion

New Delhi: Instagram influencer, Jasneet Kaur alias Rajbir Kaur has been arrested in Ludhiana on charges of blackmailing and extortion.

Police said that Jasneet was  blackmailing her social media friends.

Jasroop Kaur Batth, assistant commissioner of police, Ludhiana (West) also confirmed the arrest of Kaur and said that they have also charged her male accomplice, Lucky Sandhu.

He further said that they recieved a complaint from a businessmen who said that Kaur was blackmailing him. The businessman also said that Kaur was asscoiated with some gangsters who would threaten the victims.

Jasroop Kaur Batth said a case against Kaur was registered on April 1 in Ludhiana’s Model Town police station. Also, her BMW car and mobile phone have been seized.

She was produced in the Court following which she was sent to two days in police custody.

On Instgram, she is followed by almost two lakh followers and she also has several accounts on the social media platform.

Accorrding to reprts, Kaur attracted people by posting semi-nude photographs and videos on social media.
