IPL Auction 2022: Auctioneer Hugh Edmeades collapses midway, auction halted, to resume at 3.30 PM

New Delhi: While the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction was underway, the auctioneer Hugh Edmeades collapsed mid way through the auction.

Hugh collapsed midway while the bidding was happening for Wanindu Hasaranga. The incident sent shockwaves through the entire hall and all those present were shocked to see the development.

Hugh Edmeades has an outstanding career spanning more than 3 decades. In his 36-year-old career, he has successfully conducted 2700 auctions all over the world.
