It’s BJP sweep in 2 states, lead in Chhattisgarh: Election Commission numbers

As per Election Commission numbers, the BJP is set for a clean sweep in Madhya Pradesh and headed to topple Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan.

New Delhi: While the initial trends of Assembly Election results have given a head-start to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Election Commission is also backing up the figures, thus adding credibility to the numbers.

As per Election Commission numbers, the BJP is set for a clean sweep in Madhya Pradesh and headed to topple Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan.

In another Congress ruled state Chhattisgarh, the BJP is going strong and give tough challenge to the ruling party.
The trends give a big impetus to BJP’s preparations for 2024 Parliamentary elections.

Though, Telangana comes a solace for the grand old party as it is seen emerging as the single largest party. As per numbers, Congress is ahead in 47 seats while the ruling BRS is leading on 26 seats. BJP has failed to bag big numbers here but is surely making its presence felt here.
