Jailed Kuldeep Sengar’s daughter lodges FIR on controversial tweet by Alka Lamba

New Delhi: The daughter of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving sentence in Delhi’s Tihar Jail in the Unnao rape case, has lodged an FIR against Congress leader Alka Lamba based on a controversial tweet.

Alka Lamba tweeted that accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar has got the bail from the court at the behest of the PM and the Home Minister.

After this, the daughter of the former MLA gave a complaint letter to SP Vikrantveer calling the tweet a political conspiracy, stating that on 23 May 2020, Congress leaders Alka Lamba and Dharna Patel have made a fake tweet against their father related to the bail. The daughter of the former MLA said that her lawyer has appealed in the High Court of Delhi.

Superintendent of Police of Unnao district, Vikrant Veer said- The daughter of the former MLA has alleged that some objectionable tweets were made from @LambaAlka and @DharnaPatelINC. A case is being registered in this regard in Nagar Kotwali. Necessary action will be taken after deliberation.
