New Delhi: Senior and renowned TV journalist Rohit Sardana succumbed to the deadly COVID-19 infection on Friday left journalists and others who knew him shocked and heartbroken.
The veteran journalist was admitted to Metro Hospital on Thursday.
Sardana had risen through the ranks, from starting out as a copy editor in the early 2000s. Over the years, he was worked with Zee News as an executive editor and anchor. He was awarded the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Puraskar by the government in 2018.
As he rests in peace, some suspicions are being made related to his death. Prashant Patel Umrao a senior SC journalist shared a screenshot of a chat related to the journalist’s death.
