Kanhaiya Lal Murdered In Udaipur: A tailor was murdered in a broad day light on Tuesday.

New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot while talking to media on the horrific murder of the tailor in Udaipur on Tuesday said that the incident is gruesome and SIT has been formed.

CM said the murder of the tailor is highly condemnable.

The victim, Kanhaiya Lal, the tailor, was murdered by two men on Tuesday for sharing a post on social media supporting BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

The accused had then posted videos online that said they were avenging an insult to Islam.

He said that such incident doesn’t happen until linked internationally or without the involvement of radical elements at national and international levels.

Conspiracy of the accused

CM Ashok Gehlot also said that plans, conspiracy of the accused and their links with an agency in Pakistan is being investigated.

He further said that the investigation has been started by the SIT and the government will share its feedback only after a law and order review meeting.

The special investigation team (SIT) was announced soon after the arrest of the two men, identified as Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad, who had killed the tailor.

Murder captured in camera

In the video was uploaded after the murder of the Hindu man where the accused Akhtari can be heard declaring that they had beheaded the man and they also threaten Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The victim was recently arrested by the Local Police for hurting religious sentiments with a  post on social media. He was out on bail on June 15.

Following this he had given a written complaint in the police station where he had informed about receiving threat calls. However, after the murder, an assistant sub inspector has been suspended for negligence at that time and not taking his complaint seriously.

Tailor Murdered in Udaipur

The accused had entered Lal’s shop in Dhan Mandi posing as customers, as Kanhaiya Lal took measurements Akhtari attacked him with a cleaver. On the other hand, the other man captured the whole incident in his mobile phone. The accused then fled from the scene and uploaded the video clip on social media.
