Kanhaiya Lal’s killers ran on bike with 26-11 number plate, Riyaz bought this for Rs 5,000

After hacking Kanhaiya lal to death in Udaipur on June 28, the killers Mohammad Riyaz Akhtar & Mohammed Gos escaped from the crime scene whose number plate was 2611. The 26-11 denotes 26th November (year 2008), the day when Kasab & other Pakistani terrorists unleashed mayhem in Mumbai, in one of the worst terror attacks.

The revelation further sheds light on the highly radicalized mindset of these criminals. As per findings, one of them was also linked to Pak-based extremist group Dawat-e-Islami and spent few months in Pakistan. Reports of some Pakistani handler is also emerging in the gory murder that shocked the nation.

The killers was nabbed by the police 170 KM away from Uadipur near Bhim highway. According to reports, Mohammed Riyaz, one of the killers was obsessed with the 26/11 date and he splurged Rs 5,000 for purchasing a bike with this numberplate.

The murderers had kept their bike in start mode, at some distance from Kanhaiya lal’s shop so that they could flee from the scene without being caught. They fled the spot after killing Kanhaiya and reportedly moving towards Ajmer to shoot another video.

The Rajasthan cops acted quickly and closed the borders to stop the killers from running outside the contours of Udaipur.

The killers used side roads & streets to avoid getting caught by police, however, when they reached Deogarh via highway in search of help from known acquaintances.

In the meantime, Deogarh police got tip-off about this presence in the area. Alongwith Bhim police, the cops chased the duo for a good long stretch before nabbing them at Advana-Jasakheda highway.
