New Delhi: A host of Kannada stars including Kantara actor Rishab Shetty, KGF actor Yash along with Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the latter was in Bengaluru for the Aero Show. PM Modi had reached Bengaluru last night and today morning inaugurated the Aero show, while giving a shout-out to India’s airspace might.
Before the inauguration, PM Modi met with the Kannada actors who took the national centrestage recently with their blockbuster hits including Kantara & KGF. The Kannda film industry has been scaling new heights, with these two movies getting worldwide acclaim and also setting the cash registers ringing for the industry.
The Kannada film celebs were spotted posing with PM Modi. Fans of Kannada stars also took to Insta handles to share their snaps with the Prime Minister.

Sources privy to details said that Prime Minister showered praise on the Kannada film industry for giving a boost to India’s culture. PM Modi said that the industry has carved a unique identity for themselves via their work and they have also encouraged participation of women.

PM Modi also met a couple of sportspersons, before the inauguration of Aero show. Cricketing greats like Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad met the Prime Minister last evening. PM Modi apprised them on how the government was encouraging sports talent in the country via New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
PM Modi had reached Bengaluru last night for the launch of 5-day airshow. He was accompanied by CM Basaaraj Bommai from HAL Airport to Raj Bhavan. According to reports from Raj Bhavan, PM Modi hosted a dinner for ministers, which was also attended by celebrities from couple of sectors including movie stars and athletes.
